Junior Sales Manager / Junior Key Account Manager – Asia Pacific Region (all genders)
This junior role focuses on executing sales plans in the Asia-Pacific region with a strong emphasis on identifying and developing new customers and markets. With approximately 3 to 5 business trips per year to APAC, the position involves more hands-on sales activities, client interaction, and market entry support rather than high-level strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day sales activities including customer acquisition and account management in APAC.
- Identify and qualify new market opportunities with guidance from senior management.
- Support the onboarding and relationship building with distributors and key customers in high-growth markets like Vietnam and South Korea.
- Participate in sales calls, trade shows, and client visits during scheduled APAC travel.
- Collect market and competitor information to provide practical insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Report sales progress and challenges regularly to management.
Required Qualifications:
- Around 3 years of sales, technical support, or related experience ideally in food ingredients, pharmaceutical raw materials, or chemicals.
- Fluent in German and English; additional language skills in Chinese (Mandarin), Korean, or Vietnamese are a plus.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment and willingness to travel 3 to 5 times yearly to APAC.
- Strong communication, customer service orientation, and eagerness to learn.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or related field preferred.
